The first night inside the park, a day to acclimatize and the starting point of the Plaza Francia trek.

Why stop here

Confluencia is your first night inside the park. The acclimatization day is used to hike towards Plaza Francia, see Aconcagua's south face and come back to sleep at 3400 m. The next day you start the long walk to Plaza de Mulas.
